Persistence Settings

Secure simulator data with a passphrase, export encrypted snapshots, and restore or reset device state.

Passphrase
Derive the master key used to encrypt wallets, approvals, and KV records.

Passphrase is not set; persistence features are disabled

Snapshot Export
Download device state, signing history, and encrypted storage for backup or migration.

Snapshots include wallet catalogs, active selections, KV entries, and pairing status. They require the passphrase to decrypt on import.

Snapshot Import
Restore device configuration and signing history from a previously exported snapshot.

Importing replaces the current in-memory state and publishes updates to the dashboard. Only snapshots encrypted with the active passphrase can be imported.

Reset Simulator
Clear persisted state and return the simulator to factory defaults.

This action removes all stored wallets, approvals, signing history, and KV records from secure storage. The simulator will immediately rebuild default accounts.
